We are thrilled to announce that the Community Boosting Organization (CBO) has been selected as a focal point for the Declaration of Oviedo on Drug Use Prevention in Ethiopia! This is a tremendous honor and a testament to our entire team’s hard work and dedication. We are committed to empowering Ethiopian communities to create a healthier future, free from the dangers of drug use and addiction.
As a focal point, CBO will play a vital role in:

- Raising awareness: Educating Ethiopians about the risks of drug use and available resources.

- Promoting prevention: Collaborating with policymakers and community leaders to develop and implement effective drug use prevention strategies.

- Supporting recovery: Advocating for accessible treatment and support services for those struggling with addiction.

- Building a Network: We’re excited to invite other organizations working on this issue in Ethiopia to form a strong national network to combat drug use and addiction.
