CBO has attended monthly assembly of Bahir Dar Diabetes Association today, October 10, 2021. At assembly CBO staffs and volunteers have provided blood sugar and blood pressure measurment and counseling on controlling blood sugar and pressure level. Bahir Dar Diabetes Association has more than 1000 members. the association has a monthly assembly at Felege Hiwot Comprehensive specialized hospital at on the last Sunday of each month on Ethiopian Calendar. Members of the association shares information about the Diabetes, its complications, preventions of complications, way of use of medication, better life styles e.t.c. The association in collaboration with partners, including CBO, provides medications in cheap price, discussions and presentation about the disease, its complications, prevention of complications.
Non communicable disease, like Diabetes mellitus are one of ignored diseases in Ethiopia, CBO will keep working on them.
